Meetings and Education

The Annual Meeting of the Florida Academy consists of lectures by speakers of national importance on issues such as practice systems,
patient experience, staff development, practice finance, personal finance, retirement issues, investing, practice transition, and time
management. "Softer" issues are often covered as well, such as personal development, leadership, fitness, relationships, and vision development. Semi-private consultations with the speakers are a standard part of each session.

Spouses are welcome to participate and learn; parallel programs and recreation are also integral for the spouse's experience. Occasional
meetings are appropriate for staff.

The Florida Academy of Dental Practice Administration traditionally meets in resorts of significant historical and recreational renown.
Recent years have seen the Academy at the Four Seasons Miami, the Amelia Island Plantation, the Fairmont Southhampton in Bermuda, the
Ritz Carlton Naples, Marriott's Grand Hotel in Point Clear, AL, the Biltmore in Coral Gables, The Breakers in Palm Beach, the Ponte Vedra
Inn and the Wyndham El Conquistador in Puerto Rico.

  Guest Attendance

The FADPA welcomes guests to its annual meetings. We are especially interested in meeting dentists with strong feelings toward fee-for-service private practice, as well as those who would like to take their present practice modality there, whatever their present modality may be.

To be invited as a guest, please contact one of the dentists from directory that you might know or who is in your district. You will receive personalized information about the FADPA and a warm invitation to our next annual meeting.

Guest information may also be obtained from our Executive Director, Sharon Wimberly.
